Thank you for sharing this story in a poem. I enjoyed reading and the rhyming scheme was very good. Yes, we will be reunited with loved one in Heaven. Good luck with the contest.

A lovely thought and dream.
I have dreamed about my mom a few times since she passed and it always seemed like she was letting me know she was good and in a good place. It's a comforting feeling.

a powerful and moving free verse quasi sonnet poem about coping with the lost of your mother. I can relate. I still dream of seeing my mother who passed away in 2005 from Alzheimer's

This is a beautiful and touching poem. I love how your dream describes Heaven. The rhyme flowed naturally. I think this is a great story in a poem. Congrats on Recognized and All Time Best!

This poem really hit home for me. I lost my mom a year ago and sometimes when I dream of her I can almost reach out and touch her. I hope she is in heaven enjoying everything you describe so beautifully. Thank you for sharing.

As many people of faith have come to learn, love transcends death and the grave. Your love will never diminish. There is truth in the saying "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." Real, true love will only grow, despite the physical absence of the one who is loved.

This poem resonated with me because I had similar experiences when my mother died. This poem speaks of the hole in your life you feel when someone this influential in your life passes away. Sometimes I think the longer they are in your life and the closer you are to them the harder it is to let go of these memories. They haunt you like shadows. estory

I liked this entry. Simple, to the point and well rhymed. Not sure if it will win but a good effort. Possibly consider making it longer but still relevant. Take care and have a wonderful day.
