"Dougie and warned her." Should this not be Dougie, who warned her? Otherwise, it reads as though Miranda commits both actions in that sentence.

The older one gets the more changes in temperature appear to affect them.

The dialogue seems to be authentic and what the two of them may say to each other.

"no where on the list" should be nowhere on the list.

Ending lends towards future confrontations between Miranda and Carrie over Aaron Earl.

How did Mitch get kicked to the curb and dumped out of the equation for Miranda's affections?

Mitch hasn't been dumped. She's still totally committed to their relationship. Aaron was grasping at straws. Thank you for this nice review and the edits. Gretchen

"In love with the idea of being in love," pretty much describes most of the young world, and a good portion of the rest. But "never fear" give it time and you'll get over it. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Gretchen,
if you had waited a day on this I could have given it what it deserved. As always, a well written chapter. I never really thought about therapists having the same feelings as any other person. It was an interesting twist to have Aaron show up when Carrie is visiting. Well done gal.
Have a blessed day.
Tom

Perhaps Carrie will be manner from heaven, and Aaron will forget about Miranda and fall for Carrie. Perfect! Miranda has too much on her plate to be worried about him, and anyway, she has Mitch and he's a nice guy too. Another excellent chapter, my friend. Warmest hugs, Sandra xx

I'm not sure how I feel about Carrie. We shall see. Yes, Mitch is the perfect man, pretty much. Thank you so much. Gretchen

Poor Aaron ... maybe Carrie will mend his broken heart.
Dough sounds like a creep. I agree with Carrie, writing him a letter could help. But who cares about him, Miranda has Mitch.

Interesting and well written story, I look forward the next chapter.

Miranda is mixed up because she's angry Dougie vanished and thankful she has Waylon but also protective of everyone in her tribe. Probably makes no sense. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

This is an interesting meeting between Miranda and Carrie. They seem like old friends, especially after Carrie wants to know more about Aaron. Aaron needs someone more like Carrie than Miranda. What happens with them should be interesting. I don't really see a reason Miranda needs a shrink. She seems put together just right.

Miranda went through a lot of trauma in the last book. Tries to be super woman. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Your chapters, Gretchen, are always a perfect length and a delight to read! You immediately transport the reader into the scene with excellent dialogue balanced by just the right amount of narrative. The backstory to Dougie also helps to give the relationship added depth. I would just close 'no' and 'where' together - nowhere. Nicely done! Debbie

Obviously .Carrie knows her stuff, in order to help Miranda she needs to know why Miranda likes and attracts certain males, and Miranda needs to know why. As Dougie is defined, and therefore Miranda, she's a complex chook, beautifully written Blessings Roy

Now, Carrie a therapist and Aaron that is about as unlikely as I can ever imagine, but it sounds as if it might work. It should be very interesting. I really like this story.

I get the feeling that she has outgrown it and thinks I haven't. (you can omit 'that', it isn't needed)

Thanks Barbara. I think Carrie is very comfortable around Miranda. Otherwise she wouldn't have been so flirty. Lol. Gretchen
