This is a very good post. Strong comments and views throughout. Yes, we are in an undesirable situation with our leaders. Your message is clear in this post and your passion is clearly expressed in this writing. In the third stanza for the bottom, you wrote "Business should do the same because without people there is noone". Very nice post.

I don't have a handle on how to critique an essay of this type, so take what I've written with a grain of salt. First, using the five-part essay structure of introduction, three supporting paragraphs, and closing paragraph, I suggest starting with, "Our system has worked for as long as it has because there have been people in the system who were not corruptible. There are those who want to remove all such nobility from public service for the sake of power and greed. To call it disheartening is an understatement." You have several sections that support your introduction and it seems (to me) that "There should be no more kicking the can down the road" would be a strong opening sentence for the closing "wrap-up" paragraph.
