I was intrigued by the title and description. I think those initial elements really draw a lot more readers to our work.
Don't worry about the formatting. Is your poem set on Basic Editor? From that setting you can go back in and edit the line breaks. I don't know how to use the Advanced editor setting, so I use the Basic Editor. Then I go in and edit it by hand...

Compelling story about an old woman who had foreknowledge of the time of her death. You made every word count. Excellent tale well told. The use of dialog throughout the story gave life to the piece.

This is spooky and believable. I have heard many times that there IS a sixth sense as death approaches. A friend of mine described her mother as having been "between worlds" many times each day at the end of her life. You did a very good job with this, Mystery Writer. I hope the voters love it. xo

This has definite creepiness to it. It's like Mom knew she had an appointment and didn't want to miss it. Did she realize who this appointment was with? Well-done story in such a short allotted space!
