Hi Melissa,
Congratulations on the soon to come second grandchild. What a cute picture. Seeing such a picture make your heart expand. It sometimes surprises you how much capacity for love your heart has.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a great day.

What a sweet sentiment. I think there's this common misconception that a grandparents love gets equally divided among grandkids. I love the idea of Nana's love stretching instead. Great work!

Wow. With a second grandchild coming, you must be even busier. It's very exciting. I like the usage of "stretching" for love but it could also mean the stretching of the mommy's belly.
Well done.

This is a beautiful 5-7-5 poem that really touched my heart and the picture you chose to go with it is just perfect. If this is a personal poem, congratulations on becoming a Nana for the second time. Thank you for sharing.

Great photo and I love the sentiment! Why do you have the ellipse in the second line? Have you thought about a stronger word than "waiting", maybe "anticipating"?

This format is a 5-7-5 and syllables count. The ellipse makes the reader pause and.... wait for it :0). That gives the punch line, or in this case the satori more power and impact. Thanks son.

Hi Melissa, when it comes to grandchildren, a grandparent's love stretches to the moon and back. Your poem has good sensory appeal. Lovely photo choice. Well done. Xo. Margaret ~ LateBloomer

How exciting! Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of grandchild number two! I liked the way you described it as having your love stretch. Your syllable count was spot-on, as well. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

This 5-7-5, Stretching, has the proper formatting and images the heart, so full of love and joy, expanding to include another. Just when we think we could not love another as much or as well, we do.

Good morning, Melissa!
Isn't it just the most wonderful feeling to be able to "stretch" our love for these beautiful little additions to our families? I am so very happy for you and yours. We welcomed grandson #3 this past September = Jude Bowers Tedham, and what a bundle of love!
Beautifully expressed, Melissa!
Thank you for sharing!
