I believe that after a certain age, most of us become concerned about loosing capabilities as body parts break down. However, you have a very positive attitude for someone who has experienced your challenges.
I, too, am concerned about loosing mobility, but based on my personal disabilities. Your story is inspiring and uplifting, and I'm sure it will encourage someone else as it has encouraged me. Best wishes in the contest.

This was a very poignant and also positive read Kay as you share your story about your fear of losing more mobility. No one could say you were in it for yourself only: "My first love was horses and so I started a branch for Riding for the Disabled. Attitude really does matter, doesn't? "I am a positive person but everything hurts and nothing much works." i am aware there are some programs where people are allowed to be able to remain in their own home I would definitely check into that:
My greatest fear is being put into a Nursing Home with no voice to fight for my rights." i don't know what I would do with myself if I didn't have writing to do. I'm glad you have that to fall back upon. I will send you healing on all levels if you will receive it.

Your writing is inspiring to others and a great way to express yourself. Keep your mind busy and don't focus on the rear view mirror but forward on the windshield of possibility.
