This may be true in many cases, but without or without others there is a most powerful source we can turn to for help. Additionally, and I know this is but a 5-7-5- entry, the more voices offered can lead to frustration because everyone has a varied opinion. Be well.
I LOVE THE THOUGHT!

Too true, Tom. Thank you. I guess I was remembering my phone call yesterday with my sister where I vented and felt completely safe talking with her. She does the same with me :). Hugs!

Good morning, Melissa,
I share your perspective!

One tiny edit required:
When the weight of your
cares seem (seems) ... as weight is the subject and not cares = must take singular verb

Best Wishes!

    My pleasure, Melissa!

    P.S.
We have little shoots of daffodils popping up... under ice and snow last week... C'mon, Spring!

Oh yeah, c'mon!! I'm going to brag a bit ;) ... I have bouquets of daffodils, grape hyacinths, camellias and hellebores from my garden. I am hosting a Bunco party tonight and plan to fill every vase. I do hope, dear Diane, that all of your bulbs shoot up and fill your garden with glory!! I'll think of you as I dig and putter :). Hugs my friend.

Yes, this is so true. You address the idea that the weight of the issues that plague us get too heavy to bear and the answer to that problem is to reach out to others who will help you with your heavy load is a good one. I agree 100%.
Thanks for letting us know how to help ourselves when helping others.

What a lovely little poem with a big message. Many hands are carrying me now. Just beautiful, my friend, and so inspiring.
Sending you my best today as always, and my very best wishes for the upcoming contest.

Thanks Sally. I called my sister yesterday and vented with her and felt completely safe talking and sharing. She understands and is safe with me too when she needs to talk. I guess that was my perspective. Hugs!!

What an amazing photo that highlights perfectly your sentiments of asking for and accepting help! Something I need to apply to myself. I tend to not ask for help...thanks for the reminder!

Thank you June. I am like you and usually don't ask for help... but, I am sure the burdens would be lighter if I would. Thank you :)

I remember a secular, modern day proverb, misery demands company, but I'm not sure that's what you mean, but what else could it Be? Beautifully written Melissa, welcome back, blessings, Roy

Thank you Roy. I don't mean 'misery loves company'. I guess I am talking about sharing your troubles with someone you trust and hopefully that makes them lighter to bear. Hugs, my friend.

I didn?t really think it was what I suggested, more like a problem shared is a problem halved, well done
