Most of us are spoiled and not used to the high prices, for everything, or the rolling brown outs for electricity. But you're right in what you've said in this contest entry we should be grateful for what we do have. This entry is very well written and good luck with the contest.

I wish I had a six to give you. You're 100% correct, we have so many blessings in this country. We have a tendency to blow small problems out of proportion, these inconveniences we suffer on occasion. You're right, the rest of the world would gladly trade places with us. I don't understand how it is that I was born into this country instead of someplace in Africa or the Middle East. I've been blessed and need to remember that daily. Thanks so much for sharing.

I wish I had a six to give you. You're 100% correct, we have so many blessings in this country. We have a tendency to blow small problems out of proportion, these inconveniences we suffer on occasion. You're right, the rest of the world would gladly trade places with us. I don't understand how it is that I was born into this country instead of someplace in Africa or the Middle East. I've been blessed and need to remember that daily. Thanks so much for sharing.

You are so right - we all need an attitude or gratitude, and here in Australia, we too have an abundance of blessings. Even those who are "struggling" have nothing like the problems of millions around the world. Beautifully written, excellent rhymes and flow, and a great message. Best wishes for the contest.

I quite agree, especially having a son living in China for a year. It's so horrible, there's no words to describe it. Why America would want to tilt towards socialism or communism, is beyond me. We are blessed even if we have our problems. Hopefully, we won't trade it for something else. Thank you for sharing, Laurie, and all my best in the contest.
