Sunny is such a character. I promise I won't tell him about the writing or the picture on the food he is eating. The important things is that he likes it. You do a great job of making this little dog seems so delightful. He does a great job at his job, but he likes what he likes. LOL.

Hi Wendy,
to say I had a smile plastered on my face the entire read would be an accurate indication of just how much I enjoyed reading this story of the quirks that make us love our furry humans so much. Oh sorry Sunny, my apologies, the nuances that make our furry humans so intelligently wired.

Thank you for sharing this beautifully composed story with me/us... I needed this smile and the feeling it allowed me... so a big thank you Wendy!

With our thoughts we create...
the perfection of selective memory.

Kindest regards,
James.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review, and for the precious and valued six stars. How very encouraging! I am so pleased it gave you a smile. I like your ending (about his selective memory) too. He?s quite good at "forgetting" he?s had his meal and asking for more! Dogs are just wonderful, aren?t they?

Hello Wendy,
I could so relate to this story. I love Sunny, and I don't even know him. Our dog Rigby had no manners at all. While Jan or I were cooking, or making a salad, he would be right at our feet wanting whatever we were working on. I think I told you that I made the mistake of putting milk on his cereal in the morning once, and he wouldn't eat it without ever again. Oh yes, he had to have cereal every morning- corn flakes, Cheerios, oatmeal, he wasn't picky. We used to have to spell words around him. He could be sound asleep on the couch, and if we mentioned cheese or carrots, he would immediately wake up and charge over and start barking. I have a picture of him looking in the refrigerator with Jan when she had the door open. Aren't dogs the greatest blessing ever? Thanks so much for sharing this.
Have a blessed day.
Tom

Oh your stories are just the sweetest. Sunny is definitely the bestest boy ever and he obviously has an excellent memory! Your secret is safe with me but I wouldn't be surprised if he learned how to read one day very soon. Thanks for sharing.

This is a cute and funny story about your pet. Pets do have their own personalities. I thought the way your laid out the story was good. It was separate stories, but with a common theme, building to a funny anecdote about his new favourite food. I think the way your organized your story was clear, well-paced, and interesting.

Thank you very much for this lovely review. Yes, all about food, which means a great deal to him! Lol. I appreciate that you liked the setting out, as most people don?t notice such things, so thank you.

You have a very intelligent but quirky little dog. I guess he found the person to adopt him. You are a caring peoson and you want him to enjoy his food the same as you want your foster son to enjoy his. Not everyone would be so obliging.

This was a most amusing collection of anecdotes about your remarkable dog, Wendy, who has a fabulous memory and never seems to forget anything. Quite discerning about his food choices, he seems unlike most dog's I've seen or heard about who will gobble down just about anything!

He must provide you with endless amusement and lots of challenges to try to figure out what his behavior is all about. Very well written. - Jim

Yes, he is a lot of fun! I think sometimes he enjoys the mind plays of keeping me guessing. He chooses to forget he?s had lunch sometimes, when it suits him, to play us off against each other and get a second lunch! lol.
Thank you so much for a super review.

I don't think Sunny needs to know how to read. All he needs is to see that picture of a cat on his food, and he would be annoyed with you. Sunny is very smart. It just takes you time to learn all the things he is trying to teach you. I loved this story.

Yes, you are right - he's not silly. And yes, I am very slow, but I get his wishes eventually. And need to then act promptly. Lol. Thanks so much for your delightful review.

This is sweet so much like a dog: "However, he knows they were given to him as a treat for being a good dog, so he is collecting them like trophies!" they are very clever So amusing: "This was the day for a less desirable treat. I found it later on his cushion, uneaten." what a funny ending This is clearly A+ suitable for a pet magazine story.

Thank you very much. That is a delightful review, plus a wonderful gift of six stars. Much appreciated. I hadn't thought previously about sending any of his stories away, but that's a great idea, so I'll check it out.

I got a laugh out of this story about Sunny's peculiar eating habits. I definitely wouldn't tell him about the cat food, either. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
