That is excellent and a truly worthy winner to the ABC Contest. Not sure if you had noticed the line beginning Laughing looks different, is it no longer bold? You won anyway so probably doesn't matter.

Excellent! Abecdarian poems need not rhyme, but you went the extra mile. It flowed instead of feeling forced, which is a common issue with poetry written for a constrained contrast prompt. I also liked the slick alliteration for W.
A couple small typos you may want to fix before voting ends:
Letter L wasn't capitalized.
"Uphill" is one word, not two. (Letter R line)
"Neighbors" needs not be capitalized. (Letter T)
Overall, excellent story, great mood, nice formatting and choice of accompanying artwork.

Looking forward to reading more of your work! (The contest is blinded, so I don't know who you are yet, but I'll find out soon.)

This abecedarian poem, An Early Winter, has the proper formatting and thoroughly explores the season as well as creating a superbly rhymed verse..............

This is a great Abcedarian poem. There is so much we can say about winter, so this poem totally works! You also have such a cute picture with an active snowfall that adds to the effect. Great job!

Nicely done. A ABC that uses the entire alphabet! Quite a challenge but I think you've done a great job with it. Your poem captures the feeling of a winter storm. The little details from the gathering clouds to the churning sea and the cold snow blanketing the landscape are perfect. Despite the harsh conditions outside you could feel the warmth of the indoors and being with family. Great job - it's a wonderful poem that is also creatively written.

Wow. That is really something to do such a lovely poem inthe Abecdarian format and have it flow so smoothly and make complete sense. Not an easy thing to do! I wish I had a 6 stars left because you deserve it for this one. Wonderful job.

You did a wonderful job with this poem! You managed not only to use the alphabet in order, but you used rhyme and your poem flowed. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
