Your poem does a wonderful job on reflecting on the fleeting nature of life's moments. Love your imagery! Especially the use of chess and an hourglass. It suggests that life's challenges can come suddenly, like a checkmate in chess. Perfect! I thought this was so creative.

Life is like a game of Chess and I have played against some great players and sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. In fact learning how to play Chess helps us to understand strategy and how one move can ruin our life if we don't look out for the dangers and have back up. A fine post, getting the check-mate is the hardest task, love Dolly x x x
