I thought this was well written. I loved the scene where you are finally invited to accompany your father to milk the cow. It was surprisingly touching. I love the warmth you show in your story. Very nicely written.

What a cute humble storyline. It's easy in a house with a few kids to feel left out ... whether it was really true or not. I love your descriptive language... even down to the Dad wearing his John Deere hat... and her clothes having to be clean even to just go milk the cow... an important adventure for her. Good luck in the contest.
