I thought this was a powerful poem. Congratulations on your first post! It's a good one! For me your beautifully shares the journey from despair to hope. I love how you show the power of inner light to overcome darkness. I thought the ending showed that light within will guide the way forward. Such a powerful message! Great first post!

Thank you for this. It is good to be reminded that despair can be eased even by the smallest glimmer of hope. The value of one friend cannot be underestimated. The last line is my favorite. Well done!
