Yes it's an interesting topic for the Diamond format poem - Nature splashes her colors with aplomb where and when she will and with serious purpose- lovely pic

Mother Nature is an endless source of inspiration for poets and artists in general.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

"A peacock...yes...a peacock. If I were a bird I'd like to be a peacock. I'd sport my bright flashy plumage hue when I pursue my female to bait her and woo. I'd do all sorts of honey-bird things...like hugging her tight within my wings...while we take to the sky on the highest of high...peacock, shecock...Stormy-n-I."

Who says blue and green should never be seen has never seen a peacock.

    Male peacock feathers are stunning!

And he knows he is macho. (Biggrin)

A female peahen has dull feathers but they are good mothers.

    Glad you enjoyed the read

I liked both your content and presentation of this poem. You did a good job with the diamond shape, and your poem was informative as well as entertaining. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
