This is just the saddest thing. I scored a 100 piece set of Currier and Ives dishes and serveware at an estate sale decades ago. The divorcee was practically giving everything away. She could hardly bear to look at it, she said. All of it reminded her of the marriage to him. Well said and illustrated in one line poetry.
Sending you my best today as always, and my bery best wishes for the upcoming contest.

** rating revised up after edits**
I'm sorry to ding a piece like this. The text is potentially dramatic while falling far short of its potential because of the missed opportunity on presentation. Make these edits and I will revise up this rating.
1) Make your text stand out better from your background. And consider a different font, depending on the tone you want to convey. I suggest making your text the same color as the blue (or purple, can't tell with the nightlight filter on my phone right now) as the boxes being put on the street, to make that stronger connection for the reader. I didn't get it at first, until I zoomed in on your pic. Then adjust the background accordingly so the text stands out.
2) Increase the text size (I suggest 18px or greater) and auto-size the image (if it's not already set to do so under the advanced options, though probably it is) so that they scale evenly. This will keep your text from looking like an unimportant afterthought.
3) Crop your image to get rid of the white space on the top and bottom. This is very easy to do and makes a big difference. If for some reason you don't know how, ask and I will help.
Thanks for the read!

This is so sad, but true. It brings back thoughts of my own divorce. Divorce is often the death of good memories, due to acromony that seems to kill whatever good memories existed.
