This poem has caused me to say hmmm, exactly what is Iza saying her. I am guessing you're saying goodbye to love, because you're unable to follow your dreams???

I loved the melancholy, romantic voice here, the soulfulness of it. You also had a great image of the dreams being out in the vast sea, with you fishing for them, everything uncertain, imperfect. And having to leave behind love to find them. Very romantic. Loved the rhythms of the free verse as well, the wavering rhythm that captured the soulful wavering in the voice. One of your all time best. estory

I guess the narrator has made a choice to pursue her dreams and let go of a loved one.
