This is very well written, and I do believe that Israel has to completely destroy Hamas, and they must do it completely. The United States states to back them all the way. These people have been through too much suffering already, and they need to have some redemption come their way. Patricia .

Virtual six for this! Exceptional poem of what's really going on, and Israel's right to possess their land. It was given to them by God. The Palestinians and Hamas have no claim to this land whatsoever.

The boundaries of the Promised Land were from the River of Egypt (the Nile) to the Euphrates. See Exodus 23:31. By the time Israel was ready to take the land, hundreds of years after Abraham, it was inhabited by pagan nations, and the encroaching still exists today. Again, the Palestinian people have no legitimate claim to this land. It is not theirs for the having. They fire on Israel's occupied land and send rockets, shoot, and send cinerary kites over the property lines.

The Promised Land in modern-day Israel, includes Gaza and the West Bank, and Jordan, as well as parts of Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. God said that Israel's land is His land. That pretty much sums up everything.

I had a reviewer of my poem, In Memoriam, refer to the Jews as the plague. Really. I about died. Jews or Zionists, are not the plague. They are a people of God's own possession. Hitler and Company thought the Jews were a plague too. He got others to believe this garbage and look what happened. 70+ million dead when all was said and done, generations lost and decades of recovery.

Here we are again in 2023/24. Sometimes I cry when I read the news. I do, and the lying anti-Jew crap on here. Can't they see the correlations to now and WWII? History repeats itself when it's lessons are not learned from and heeded.

Sending you my best today as always.

A powerful poem. Truly God's words are clear - sadly Israel did not heed them and still today, we do not. Thank you for your notes and giving additional history of this situation in Israel that affects the whole world.

Blessings and happy Easter
Janet

You are absolutely correct, in fact Israel is the only piece of land that was promised forever, and when we say that our country was given by God, have a look at history and see if that's true. In fact the Palestinians are there by God's permissive will, they are probably descended from the various enemy nations that surrounded Israel, the world needs to get in line supporting Israel, lest a curse comes upon their nation, beautifully written, blessings Roy

The troubles in the middle east have existed since I was born and I wonder if there will ever be peace there. The fighting over bits of land as borders change and settlers are often disrupted and live on the edge of war. Your poem is powerful and very sad, love Dolly x x x
