The video is graphic in BW but the message is clear. Jesus could have flown away, but he decided to stay. Death has no dominion over the blessed Son of God.

I saw the video you provided too.
Many say that Mel Gibons The Passion was too crude.
The truth is we feel far more Jesus' pain , humiliation and sufferings when we see it.
Words sometimes fall short when it comes to physical torture.
It's a shame that mankind does not value His sacrifice.
We are at war , children are being killed, dying of famine and disease.
Our planet is dying too , we abuse, exploit and pollute it.
Mankind is creating its own hell here.

Dear Tempeste, I owe you an apology as this was supposed to have gone through days ago, and something must have happened where my thank you did not save. I was very touched by your kind and such a truthful review for my poem, Redemption. Thank you also for the generous six stars. I agree with every word you said. I hate to think that it could be much worse than America, but i am hearing it is like that all over the world.

So I think I have posted instead I haven?t .
Up to this January PM Macron was adamant in NOT sending EU troops to Ukraine.
Now all of a sudden he is saying not to excluded the possibility that the EU could send troops , he even added 10 days ago that France was thinking of sending 2.000 troops ( he then hopes other EU members will follow suit)
Why the change ?
The war was lost already in September last year . The senate stopped funding too then
but Biden doesn?t want to declare defeat cause it will cost him the elections .
So he wants the war to drag on until November .
But there is a problem.
Zelensky has no more army , more than 400,000 Ukraine soldiers died so he needs troops and money to drag on the war for Biden
Macron is playing with fire Putin said he will shoot down EU planes and kill EU troops
He is not bluffing Europe is a pass from WW3 .

I liked this it worked really well but I fell it ran into a couple of problems in the final stanza. Sacrificed does not rhyme with died, was this a conscious decision? I had expected Christ which rhymes. I wasn't quite sure about our hearts are poured it rhymes well but I struggled with it. Does: our hearts out poured, work? Anyway I am being picky because you nearly got a six.

Mark, let me start by saying welcome. I hope you're very happy here. I usually try to welcome newbies from the start, but you slipped by me somehow.
Thanks for reading and reviewing my poem. I admit that I did take a little for granted with my near rhyme which most people don't say too much about because I am normally a stickler with rhyme and meter.
However I did like your suggestion about the hearts poured and I used it, so thank you very much. I did this one in the middle of the night when I woke and couldn't sleep and posted by morning. So thanks for the near six. LOL.
I hope we will be good friends and thanks again. I will be over to check out your work too and fan you before too long. Debi
