I had to think about it, but it is true. Airborne moisture. Quite often you give my brain a workout. Thank you. Good writing will do that. Have a wonderful week. Karen

This poem was filled with hope, at least that's how I read it. I enjoyed your author's notes, as well. Thank you so much for sharing, and best wishes to you.

A pithy entry for your Lune contest entry.

Do like your coloring scheme for this post. I too have used your illustrator for several of my own posts.

Nicely done!

Thank you, Mark, I'm not sure if I have the right Idea about the lune form, I've only written a few, though enjoy learning, as always very much appreciated****kahpot

    P.S.

I have often seen that Lune poems are aligned flush left to replicate a ?moon? look. Like Haiku, 5-7-5 may be shorter in length, but usually as short-long-short syllabled lines.

-Very nice artwork and presentation, kahpot.
-The syllable count is good, along with the topic.
-Effective nature imagery with the raindrops and clouds.
-A good contrast with fall and ascend.
-A good concluding line.
-Good luck in the contest.

Very inspirational words that remind us of the struggles we might face in life. But ultimately can transform us into a new and better version of ourselves. Nice entry!

Ah, the precipitation cycle!! I remember that from elementary school science class! If this poem had been around back then, think of the time it could have saved all of us! Concise, precise, and mystifying: everything Science should be!

Good luck on Voting Day with this lovely Lune! xo

This is an interesting choice of pictures, and the subject is up my alley as I was a weather-geek (Aerographer) in the United States Navy. Drops of water, for any questioning how do they rise, check the science how hail vary in size.

Thank you, Tom, that would have been a great and very interesting career, and like you I am a bit dubious about the picture, as always very much appreciated****kahpot

I like it as a whole it works really well. The image although abstract has a watery feel, the black background and white text is classic. The words are short but leave you thinking for far longer than it takes to read them. Yet is used as a conjunction here although it could also act as a verb (neverthe less) such a tiny word doing such a big job.
