What a cute and perfect picture to accompany your piece. I am, by no means, a poet.

But I do wonder if it would have more impact if one of those rights were a write?

Just my two cents.

A bit of confusion here as to which grade has been awarded. And a discrepancy between the two extremes so no wonder the little girl in the pic has had a fright. Well done! These are challenging prompts. Good luck! Debbie

In College Poetry class, I went from an F to an A just by rattling back the prof's words to him. No independent thinking at all! Then he punished me by seating me in a corner while he read free verse.

Your title should read (An A or (an) F). I must be a bit dim as I just did not get this one, but I wish you luck with the contest, love Dolly x x x x x x x x

You got the syllable count right, but each line was supposed to rhyme, and it doesn't right now. I hope you are able to fix it. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

I've never tried a 1-6-1 poem. It seems it could be tricky to portray your message. I see my son in your poem. His grades are all over the place! I like your message. As for the contest entry, I see the lines are supposed to rhyme (as mentioned in the writing prompt). Did you notice that? Good luck with your entry!

Your poem has the correct number of syllables per line, but the lines do not rhyme (see the contest prompt). You have plenty of time to revise before the voting starts.

Ooops, I don't think you read all of the instruction here. Not too late to have a rethink though. 1-6-1 all present and correct but it does state it should rhyme. That makes it very difficult. If I were to give you stars for the poem alone it would be a bewildered 5, but since it fails to hit the brief i dropped a point. Good luck.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt here. Technically a word does not rhyme with itself but hey ho.

I think this poem is pedagogical in nature. It wants to tell us that enthusiastic acceptance doesn't necessarily align with reality; what one thinks it great may, uh-oh, not be. The wording could be improved to fortify the point, maybe 'Right!/ Oh yeah it's perfect!/ Wrong." I know some of these syllable-poems ban punctuation; I think that's an insult to poetic exuberance.
