Hi Gypsy, you've written about a tough topic--child abuse--and you have done this most tastefully. Of special note:
but evil grabbed her first
and ravished her innocent soul
(very, very sad, and tragic)
G, writing like this must happen so that people will learn/know how to recognize Evil in its greatest form.

This is such a sad topic and yet you end it beautifully with the hope that despite all that the child had suffered in the past, God can still preserve the innocence and help her to live beyond what happened in the past because of evil hearts.

All children are born innocent and without sin. It's horrible when an adult abuses a child. God will not forsake them. Thank you for sharing this beautiful presentation with us.

This poem seemed to let the reader follow the child's path. From the days of innocence, to the trials of unacceptable lust and betrayal. Then in the end, God takes you, accepting you and holding you safe in His arms. Beautiful intent. Gretchen

Gypsy, this is beautifully written. we can only guess at how many of these children have taken their secret to their grave--bearing shame that was never theirs. Heaven will deal with those who try to soil innocent souls. Perversion is worthy of hell and God will judge harshly!

This is serious and very authentic. It is a Good God that comes through, although bad people find ways to hide their vile acts from God while they hurt God's Innocent children. You are a living proof of God's Love Overcoming evil. Very well written and presented, Gypsy.

Very sad words that paint a terrible realistic of many children.
I do believe in an afterlife, perhaps not as most Christians do, but one through a resurrection.
Heartfelt words to read, but harder to imagine.
