This is very appropriate in honor of the Ukrainian people and the nation itself. The syllables were correct in the three lines and flow well, truthfully expressing concern and grief for such sorrows these people have endured: so much, like oceans of grief, yet able to be contained in the heart. We must never stop remembering the evils being perpetrated in Ukraine. And this senryu skilfully uses a powerful image of "oceans of grief" to capture the atrocities of war in which so much innocence is lost now and for generations to come. Well done and good luck! Debbie

This is good I still have been able to find out what the difference is between a haiku and a senryu. Which ever this is and why it is that thing it is a good one of it. If that makes sense. I have a confused mind.

It is not easy to learn about the terrible grief and destruction the Ukraine people continue to suffer, especially because they are the innocent party of the massive and ongoing aggression instigated by Russia.
