This is a fun write and I don't have any pets just now because of my transient life-style, but if I did have animals, I could not sleep with them. We have to respect our animals and give them space to be who they are, they are not human, I expect they are a comfort to you Monica, love Dolly x x x

They truly are a comfort to me. They actually each have their own places to sleep, but they insist on sleeping with "Mom". I don't mind, though. I know the kitten will settle down as soon as I can get her fixed. The poor dog just wants to play - lol.

Thank you. I actually decided to leave a crack in my door last night (thought about the doggie door, but I live in an apartment). That worked well until the cat accidentally pushed it closed. I opened it again and the dog went and closed it - lol.
