A greater truth was never told! I'm still scratching my head over some recent ones. Well done 575. Correct syllables.
I wish you the very best in the mysterious process of voting!

Ooh, watch out, no poking the bear!
Sorry, Tom, everybody knows you're a pussycat!
There have been complaints and conspiracies about voting as long as I've been on the site, but somehow I've managed to win my fair share without resorting to any shonky business beyond writing a good poem, promoting it to the best of my ability and then voting for it myself.
Of course, doing what you can to make new friends and gain followers is going to help. That involves doing heaps of reviewing and replying and commenting in the forums and organising member contests and voting etc.
When I was doing all that - goodness knows where I found the time - I once won FIFTEEN contests on the trot. Enough to raise the suspicions of any observer...
You must have written a good poem, because it's generated a lengthy review. Good luck in the contest.

Ha! Have you never seen some of the results and gone..."What the heck were the voters thinking?!"Anyhoo, much thanks for your lengthy thoughtful comments, advice, kind review and good luck wish--which I'll definitely need now. :-))

Yep, I've seen plenty of weird results and I've also had some shockers myself where my entry only received one vote and that was me!
All you can do is shake your head and persevere.
