You are right this is very true. Your 5/7/5 poem is one that many readers, including myself, can understand. This has the correct syllable count and the picture matches perfectly. Great job. I enjoyed reviewing it.

Best wishes,

Alex

-Very nice artwork and presentation.
-The syllable count is good, along with the topic.
-A very good opening line.
-The second line supports that very well
because we have to do our part in order to learn.
-You make a good point in the last line
that is also important.
-A good entry; good luck!!

Great point. How many of us have had to relearn the same lesson over and over? It have! This is an appealing 5-7-5 that makes a great point!

(I wish I was a faster learner...)

Excellent artwork and presentation to this 5/7/5 lesson of life poem. The key is definitely to remember what we've learned and the remember. There in lies the rub.

Well done.

Janet, that's it. Some lessons are harder than others, aren't they? Blessings

These type of short poems makes me impatient to go straight to the punch line. Yes, using what we learn is the keystone to any type of learning, and you portray it well.

Wish you the best for the contest.

If a curious baby touches a hot iron, he will only do it once. Life teaches us from the day we are born. By the time we reach middle-age, most of us have accumulated lots of wisdom. Your creative poem makes it clear that we must learn and remember. Best wishes in the contest.

Life often teaches us lessons. I raised four sons. One of them, my stinker, I swear needed to be kicked in the head by the mule fifty times before he released that mule kicks. LOL I enjoyed reading your poem and good luck with the contest.

A great reminder of how life is the ultimate teacher, if only we would sit still and listen. And of course, remember, as you point out in the great little 5-7-5. Good luck in the contest.

Yes, this so very true Lo Ann.... first being open to learning and then hoping what has been learned is remembered.
Enjoyed the read.
