This little 5-7-5 is sure to bring back memories for most of us. You have the correct syllable count. And there is even an internal rhyme with bit/spit on the end. The only thing I saw to fix was to say: kids' faces
instead of kid's faces.
That way the possessive form is correct for more than one kid. Unless, perhaps, there is a two-faced kid out there.

LOL. Yes, I guess every kid in the world has gotten a spit bath for one of those last minute clean ups. I was one of those kids they couldn't keep clean.

Lol! Well, all the spit-related "cleaning" probably took a new method after Covid hit. Now I always carry hand sanitizer and use it after every store visit because of just touching things others touched.
