Sister, let me say that you may have lived your allotted time on earth, but your sentiments are long living. Those words and opinions are imbedded in conservatism. Every country has fallen at least once. I don't want that to happen here. Great comments. Is this the part where they say "hook'em horns" or whatever.

Yeah, I probably have, but I am so scared at what may very possibly happen, it just makes me sick.
As you can see, I am angry at what's going on in this country. I did get one response for a lovely gal from Australia, who said she had hated Trump and believed all the stuff she'd read, but was "so glad" to hear the other side and had a better picture of how things were, here. Made my day!
Hook'em horns sounds great to me. :) And you are being really generous with your 6es, which I truly appreciate!!!!

Sure this platform, and political rant, will stir up many different, and perhaps even strong opinions. Your positions are clearly stated.
Agree America has problems. Since at least 1776 she has overcome many of them. However, unless more people in this country start working together to find some viable solutions, instead of constantly preferring to further tear America down every time they turn around and stop supporting their own agendas, do not foresee things improving much any time soon regardless of which political side of the aisle they claim to be on.

Agree America has problems. Since at least 1776 she has overcome many of them. However, unless more people in this country start working together to find some viable solutions, instead of constantly preferring to further tear America down every time they turn around and stop supporting their own agendas, do not foresee things improving much any time soon regardless of which political side of the aisle they claim to be on.

Indeed yes, there is a problem with "educator" warping young people's minds against their own country.

Why are some children being told what they should or shouldn't read. I most certainly don't agree with any of that, however I realize that millions of Americans, born right here, like myself, have no problem with any of that.

I can tell you most certainly aren't a Biden fan, and that's okay, you have every right not to be one..however, I can appreciate that many of my medications becoming a lot less, especially the diabetic medications, because of Biden's signature.
Also perhaps you might not wish to bother checking, but the price of gasoline, is lower, because of his signature,
a lot lower than the over 5 dollars that my daughter was paying, now it's not even 4 dollars, for the gas she uses in her car.
Yes I must agree with you on this, power, greed, and freedom to do as they wish, when it comes to the law, are the goals of some Americans.
Again you mention the lies in the media, I guess you have forgotten the millions of dollar Fox paid for lying.
I am a Christian, a fervent believer in God, and, I don't take my lessons from any television evangelist, nor do I question those that do not believe as I do.
What I look for in people is simply decency, and the freedom to serve the God, I have loved and believed in for my entire life.
There's so much more you have mentioned, that I'd really like to question, but there's really no need, you have made yourself perfectly clear, who you are, who you believe in, and we just don't live in the same world.
This may well be the greatest nation in the world for you, and so many others, but try visiting some areas of the country where industry has left their areas. there's no jobs available, and their medical care isn't good.
Places like some towns Mississippi, and Louisiana, and others.
I hope things do change for some of those people, and for many others.
You see a lot of those men and woman,
were out there on the front lines, when I was
a young woman, and they seem to be forgotten.

Victoria, I get my reasons from everyday life, from most of the news channels' total bias and lies, vs what I see with my own eyes.The price of gas IS UP from the days of Trump's Presidency by a lot; the price of everything is up. Young families can't afford to buy a home, and many can't afford food. Surely you have noticed the high prices that keep going up at the grocery stores - all stores. How have you not noticed.
Have you not seen AMERICAN students from Harvard, Columbia, , young people in DC and New York yelling , Death to America!!!!!
They are being taught to hate their own country, and to spout hatred for Jews and Israel, our friend and ally. Check out Soros and see how he has poured billions into corrupting politicians, the democrat party, the CIA, FBI, and places of higher "learning."
Obama, who is definitely behind the scenes influencing Biden, admitted that he was going to change America. Well they certainly have. You don't care enough about your country to even vote. Do you think having wide open borders where millions of illegals, including CCP members pouring in everyday is a good thing???? And the CCP is buying up our farm lands and land near military bases! Pome lover, certainly we could talk all day long on each presidency's failures and accomplishments- some stand out more than others, but in order to have a good faith argument about any President, past or present , we must also take in account our Congress and who was and is majority in both halls and understand their function, in not only helping and supporting our President in implementing policies, but insuring the balance of power is not usurped by anyone wanting to seize complete control of ultimate power.
However, my review today is not about your stance to debate or to agree, it's about your presentation and the development of your supplication or argument, whichever term suits you. After all, Fanstory is about perfecting our writing whether it be a poem, a script, a novella, or an informative missive / editorial.
If you are looking for a political argument or debate, that's best utilized in the political forum. You will undoubtedly have a larger audience there.
I am curious to understand who your target audience is? Are you attempting to bring those with opposing points of view into a banter, hoping to change their minds or hoping that they see your reality--or--are you basically expecting those who share your beliefs and biases to confirm or validate your beliefs?

Firstly, you might want to expound on what evil is and as expressed- your concern that your country appears to be greatly influenced by evil, but follow with your why in concrete and verifiable verbiage.
Insulting those with a different leaning persuasion is off- putting.
You might well define evil as a deliberate premeditated inhumane, monstrous, and dastardly action perpetrated on a population, individual, or animal, with the intent to kill, destroy, or maim, without remorse or concern for the devastation one may cause.
Your first paragraph leaves me begging the question- what are you talking about exactly?
Where is the overwhelming concrete evidence or citations proving your statement as fact that educators are warping minds? Which educators? Are you aware there are many educators on this site and you might very well, though I am sure unintentionally, insulted them?
What is the "against students" from other countries? What countries are you talking about and how has this action hurt or threatened others?
The second paragraph is definitely clear about who you are talking about to those in the United States, but many from other countries might be clueless. Where are the facts and statistics to enforce your statement about millions of 'dangerous' illegals? Here, your diatribe is perpetuating and stigmatizing that all illegals are 'dangerous'. Is that your belief and if it is your belief, give concrete, empirical evidence your statement is warranted.
If your subject of this paragraph stated the borders were closed, it would be more convincing and unarguable if you gave reference to his statement. Also, naming him would be appropriate. Not everyone has your knowledge.
There's nothing that drives home the actions or inactions of an elected person more powerful than to emphasize his name. This being President Biden. What are examples of where he signed his name that has made America worse? What are in his policies or his tenure which has put families in debt and why is that debt passed on? If you are talking about the economy and inflation, give statistics and references. Be well rounded and explain how our economy broke and what drove inflation. If you are talking about other policies or bills, give logical reasons why it's making America worse. For instance why is lowering the price of insulin making it worse for Americans. Why is it that the first meaningful gun violence legislation act making it worse for Americans or American families.If it's student loan forgiveness for middle or working class families, why is it making it worse. If it's rebuilding our infrastructure, why is it making America worse. If it's delivering on the most aggressive climate change agenda, why is it making it worse. Whatever you are referring to, state specifically and give examples and facts. I'm giving known facts about some of his signatures.

What deals are being made with Americas enemies and what friends or allies has America deserted?
Who is responsible for stripping America of her leadership? How did this happen? Again give facts and references, not opinionated op eds. Who is 'they'. Who is the 'they' who have bankrupt their own country and what countries are you speaking of?
Where are examples of Christianity being mocked?
List who is deliberately destroying America and why. What are some examples of citizens raised in this country who have turned against her- eagerly no less.
What is socialism and why is it bad? What are some ideas you have to subvert the train? Does the United States participate in any form of socialism?
How are parents being regulated to the trash bin and young minds are being filled with sick ideas? What ideas?
Only after presenting your factual, reasoned and seasoned argument or post, then would it be most fitting to ask Americans if this is what they want for their families and their families future. Otherwise, it's a moot point because you are giving not one ounce of concrete information they can base their thoughts on, just seemingly angry opinions.
What critical thinking person cares for others opinions regarding politics if it is not based on a good faith argument supported by statistics, facts, or empirical evidence.
In your conclusion, you've killed the horse after the race.
I'm a big proponent of missives which are educational and are of good faith argument. When a piece structured right , it makes it interesting to read regardless of whether one agrees with the author or not.
I said you killed the horse after the race which simply means you are appearing to be condescending. As if the readers who will disagree with you are stupid, dumbed down and you know better than them. Telling them to wake up and to think about it, is like telling a child to do something without giving him information on what he is to do. That's what I mean by killing the horse after the race.
Many people who write a diatribe kill the horse before it gets out of the gate. Though poorly written, you didn't kill the horse, you just failed to put winkers- better known as blinders- to keep the horse focused on the race.
You, no doubt have gotten reviews on both sides of the isle. I am sure those who disagree let you know and why- as they should if it's the content they are reviewing you on. Hopefully, your exchanges were respectful and open minded.

My wonderful Grandmother Emma, being of immigrant Irish blood, was a staunch political advocate who would always say she was going to lose her religion if Congress did this or that.
Believe me she was a strait laced Southern Baptist. Loved her dearly. She walked her talk and she was a dyed in the wool Democrat who loved and used her voice for everyone- I mean everyone.
Her favorite Scripture, which has resonated with me since childhood was - Make sure of ALL things and hold fast to what is fine. " Her second all time Scripture was "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone that asks you to give reason for the hope in you. But do this with gentleness and respect. " She applied this timely counsel in school board meetings, in town hall meetings, and when advocating for a Presidential candidate. You see she was not just a political hobbyist. Yes, she was highly opinionated. But her opinions were developed by facts. You couldn't debate nor argue with a McDouglas, unless you had your ducks in a row, because believe me, she not only had them in a row, they were perfectly synchronized.
Anger, Pome Lover, gets no one anywhere. Instead, if you believe and feel this strongly about our country, don't just write an empty diatribe, get involved. Mingle with those who do not think like you and listen with intent on how they view things and why. You just might find you have more in common than you think. One, they are in all
likelihood, just as passionate and proud to be an American as you are. Further more, you might have an epiphany or a paradigm shift or vice a versa.

Where are examples of Christianity being mocked?
List who is deliberately destroying America and why. What are some examples of citizens raised in this country who have turned against her- eagerly no less.
What is socialism and why is it bad? What are some ideas you have to subvert the train? Does the United States participate in any form of socialism?
How are parents being regulated to the trash bin and young minds are being filled with sick ideas? What ideas?
Only after presenting your factual, reasoned and seasoned argument or post, then would it be most fitting to ask Americans if this is what they want for their families and their families future. Otherwise, it's a moot point because you are giving not one ounce of concrete information they can base their thoughts on, just seemingly angry opinions.
What critical thinking person cares for others opinions regarding politics if it is not based on a good faith argument supported by statistics, facts, or empirical evidence.
In your conclusion, you've killed the horse after the race.
I'm a big proponent of missives which are educational and are of good faith argument. When a piece structured right , it makes it interesting to read regardless of whether one agrees with the author or not.
I said you killed the horse after the race which simply means you are appearing to be condescending. As if the readers who will disagree with you are stupid, dumbed down and you know better than them. Telling them to wake up and to think about it, is like telling a child to do something without giving him information on what he is to do. That's what I mean by killing the horse after the race.
Many people who write a diatribe kill the horse before it gets out of the gate. Though poorly written, you didn't kill the horse, you just failed to put winkers- better known as blinders- to keep the horse focused on the race.
You, no doubt have gotten reviews on both sides of the isle. I am sure those who disagree let you know and why- as they should if it's the content they are reviewing you on. Hopefully, your exchanges were respectful and open minded.
You know they say- closed minds are like parachutes- both can be deadly if not opened.
My wonderful Grandmother Emma, being of immigrant Irish blood, was a staunch political advocate who would always say she was going to lose her religion if Congress did this or that.
Believe me she was a strait laced Southern Baptist. Loved her dearly. She walked her talk and she was a dyed in the wool Democrat who loved and used her voice for everyone- I mean everyone.
Her favorite Scripture, which has resonated with me since childhood was - Make sure of ALL things and hold fast to what is fine. " Her second all time Scripture was "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone that asks you to give reason for the hope in you. But do this with gentleness and respect. " She applied this timely counsel in school board meetings, in town hall meetings, and when advocating for a Presidential candidate. You see she was not just a political hobbyist. Yes, she was highly opinionated. But her opinions were developed by facts. You couldn't debate nor argue with a McDouglas, unless you had your ducks in a row, because believe me, she not only had them in a row, they were perfectly synchronized.
Anger, Pome Lover, gets no one anywhere. Instead, if you believe and feel this strongly about our country, don't just write an empty diatribe, get involved. Mingle with those who do not think like you and listen with intent on how they view things and why. You just might find you have more in common than you think. One, they are in all
likelihood, just as passionate and proud to be an American as you are. Further more, you might have an epiphany or a paradigm shift or vice a versa.

Victor reports that after World War 2 ended, after all the atrocities which had been committed by and in the name of Hitler, an amputated soldier told him that he still believed in Hitler and that Hitler never lied.
The final mode is misplaced faith. This involves the sort of self deifying claim that "I alone can fix it" or "I am your voice". When misplaced faith descends from heaven to earth in this way, no room remains for the small truths of individual discernment and experience.
Fascist as in pre and post war Germany despised the small truths of daily existence, loved slogans that resonated like a new religion, and preferred creative myths to history or real journalism. They used new media to create a drumbeat of propaganda that aroused people to react before they could ascertain facts. And now, as we speak, as then, many people confused faith in a hugely flawed leader with the truth about the world we all share.

My goodness, do you preach to all those you disagree with at such length? Or maybe you teach a course in posting on writing sites and were giving me a refresher tutorial.
There are and have been many opinion pieces on Fan Story, all shapes and sizes, which, as such, naturally invite pro and con responses. It's amazing how detractors of posts see their own opinions as truth, and those of the author as lies. I have noticed that the radical Left thinks that opinions other than theirs should not be allowed. They are banned. They are "quieted."
I began reading your comments, marveling at your tenacity (and long windedness) and after awhile began to skim, and finally said to heck with it.

I asked you to give concrete, empirical evidence that what you are ranting about has any kind of merit.

Our fragile democracy , yes, I said fragile, has been frayed to the breaking point. Part of it is because of people like you who deliberately renounce the difference between what you want to hear and what is actually the case supported by evidence and facts. However, I was in no way attempting to sully your reputation. Individuals words and actions do more to sully or uplift their reputation than anyone can do to you.
My review was not disparaging- it was given in earnest. Again, you presented a post which is extremely controversial and you knew it. You absolutely knew it.
Some of your statements were disparaging groups of people. Namely, educators and illegal aliens.
You were quick to demean and criticize President Biden, but the absolute irony from others like you- you fail to recognize that the shortcomings you see in one President is twofold in the former.

Mr. Fawcus, I respect you, and agree that we have always been a nation of survivors, but this may be the point of no return. America has many powerful and wealthy people including the WEF, Soros, and others who want to control this country. Soros doesn't mince words denouncing this country, and tons of money is pouring into the coffers of the radical Left. Each example that I mentioned is, indeed, happening. Most Americans are sick at heart and also angry at what this administration has done to our country. Especially after the manipulation of the last election.
This "leadership" is a combination of people managing a doddering but traitorous crook and his cabinet. They will do anything to stay in power and it is very scary. And our kids, a lot of them, have been brainwashed with all this WOKE mess, and now many young people are in our streets blocking access to public places, praising Hamas and burning the American flag! Americans doing this.
Sir, I keep up with what's going on and our country is being deliberately weakened and destroyed. Our border is still open and we have over 7 million illegals here, many of which are being given, by our President, $1,000 and cell phones and of course, the right to vote! Many of them are now before Congress, complaining that the food isn't suitable to their religion! And many of them are members of the CCP. Many of the illegals are felons and murderers let out of jails and dumped on our shores. And our US Homeland Security Sec. says, on TV, repeatedly, that our border is closed.
We are in serious trouble.

Karen, I am not the one watching fake news. I am watching everyday the weakening and ruination of my country, prices of everything rising so much many can't afford food, much less buy a home. Everyday I listen to our President and the press lie and it makes me sick. He is spending our money ruining us, too. With the debt he is still building up, I don't see how people's kids and grandkids will ever get out of debt.

If you do profess to be a Christian, another good idea for your free time: read the Sermon on the Mount and other parts of the New Testament. Your babble sounds more like the Scribes and Pharisees.
If our country does not have time to fulfil the promise written on the Statue of Liberty, we are not the America our forefathers hoped for. When is the last time you read the constitution or the amendments? Maybe there is something there that will peak your interest.

It is the absolute truth.
The fact that you can say, "Our country does not have the time to fulfill the promise written on the Statue of Liberty," speaks volumes, and for you to have the audacity to say I don't sound like a Christian is typical of radical Leftists who are ruining this country.
You must be happy with a wide open border that your President and Mayorkas say is closed. You must also like the fact that since Biden took over, everything is sky high and people can't afford to buy food, much less homes. And you must be over the moon that the schools are saying that parents!!! have no right to have a say in what their children are being taught. I could go on and on about the disaster this administration has caused.
