Great chapter, Douglas! Creepy with hints of what's to come. How many spirits can be in the vicinity of Wolf Bend?
One suggestion to consider:
'A dark shadowy figure stood at the far end of the ally, backlit by a full moon, near the sheet metal wall.' This sentence is a little awkward with descriptions separated from what they describe. Maybe switch it around: "Backlit by a full moon, a dark, shadowy figure stood at the far end of the alley near the sheet metal wall."
How is Greg going to get out of this one? I look forward to the next chapter.

HA! I described in an earlier book that the medicine man Gray Feather was binding these spirits until Greg released him. That had the negative affect of releasing several bad spirits. Thanks for the awesome review!

A really interesting combo is emerging of police (evidence, science) and the supernatural. One is at a clear disadvantage. You are doing a great job navigating this maze/mystery through Greg.

Okay, I sent you the first Thirteen Chapters! I was waiting to see if you whacked me with another three star before I sent it. I guess I could have seen that this week as it would seem some people did not like this chapter, but last weeks chapter was one of my favorites. Anyhoo, you may be confused because of where you have started. Imagine starting the Harry Potter series at Book Four The Goblet of Fire. You would have no idea who the characters were or understand past references. Just my two cents. Stay frosty, my friend.

Ha! How do you kill such a thing? He took out Morgan as the wolf and the Witch. Probables with killing g all of these supernatural foes is that I have to come up with a new way each time. I think I came up with a pretty good one this time!

This was an enjoyable read. Very nice chapter. So Lilith can absorb bullets, but had physical presence to use post-its and to scratch skin, not to speak of killing people. So, how to kill such a thing?
