Yes, we never forget those special time. In my case, he had not gotten on one knee but had indicated he wan't to marry me. I kept putting him off. I was young and wanted to finish school. Then one night, I say yes because I didn't want to lose him and I wasn't sure he would wait.

This is a romantic yet concise entry for the 5 line poem contest. There is no unnecessary word in the flow. I might suggest taking out the comma after happiness. Good luck in the contest.
