Ciao mystery poet, you now have three votes.
Finally a fresh topic. I always wanted to be an archaeologist, I love digging up and finding object of the past.
Treasure hunts are similar
some people dedicate their whole lives searching for a lost ship sunk near rugged coasts or reefs etc
The cargo of each ship was documented. Gold, precious objects etc.
There are many dangers but that doesnt stop these adventurers.

This is a well told story in this format. I think that people should give up on this treasure hunt if everyone who has tried to find it has been lost at sea,

Who has not thought about finding lost pirate treasure? The Speaker here has been told tales he'd like to believe are true. He warns us to be leery of such quests. I am impressed by your subtle use of rhyme. Rod
