Very entertaining, but I think you need to bold or italicise the idioms to meet the letter of the rules. I especially liked the parrot/carrot rhyme. I've always pondered the sick-as-a-parrot. Most of them aren't sick!

I truly enjoyed how you mixed in SO MANY idioms in this poem. I do feel I was there at the meeting listening to the boss go on and on. Your humor made me chuckle, but I have to confess I'll never be a fan of AABB rhyming. Rod

Thanks, Rod. It is the simplest, therefore least ambitious, rhyme structure making the writer?s task more straightforward.
