Wow. What a great photo you've found to pair with your poem
I too love the sounds of children playing. I live across from a middle school. During the summer, I don't hear them, but other times of the year I love hearing them. And the birds. Gotta love those bird songs
I guess the summer with its moonlit beaches are more for older kids. Maybe the smaller kids are at home at night
This makes me think of that song "Boardwalk" by the Drifters. But, it is more for teenagers.
