Great flow and storyline. The scene you developed has a lot going on which Lilith was able to use to her advantage. Adding a cocky FBI agent who wanted to be famous, and the animosity he had for the Chief worked in Lilith's favor, leading to his death.

So much drama and excitement here, Doug! And all done at record pace. David fell right into her trap and is now no more, making Greg, in contrast, look so much stronger and resilient, not to mention committed to his wife. He has to think fast now but, after this episode, I'm sure he's going to be more than a match for her. I found no edits in your chapter and enjoyed the supernatural element which isn't usually my thing. Well done, Doug! Looking forward to the next 3 chapters. Take care Debbie

Somehow Greg needs to figure out a way to get out of this mess. I know, or at least I hope, you have it figured out. I know help is on the way, but will it be soon enough. Maybe some of his former spirit people can help him.
