I wish I had a six. Amazing stuff. Love it. My brain is tired. I just wrote "The Elevator" for a contest. It is suitably snarky. I cracked myself up with this one. Send me good wishes please for my move on the 20th. I will be going to Houston to get my stuff out of storage 25+ years of memories. Half will be donated, You can't put a 3 bedroom house in a one bedroom apartment. It will be tough, but then it will be over. I can finish nesting and get on building my new life. I will be happy here. My sister's seem to adore me. What good taste they have! :-) Karen

I won!I won!I won!I won!I won! Boy Howdee! My toes are doing the happy dance. Hurry up and write some more. I am thinking of a collaberation too.
Tell me why you picked Rachelle. Because she was the same? Because she was different? I wanna know what to look for when I pick someone. Should I stick with a woman? Advice please. :-)

We were just talking on Facebook messenger one night about how weird it would be to land in Amish country. Then we laughed about it and the idea was born. Rachelle and I have similar sense of humor. But she's outgoing and I am the opposite. Just worked out. Good luck.

Do you have a set agenda for what needs to be achieved for each chapter? Karen

We will go over some points but basically it's like life. She pays attention to things that might slip by me and vice versa.

Haha... I'm loving the story, two of my favorite writers. The idea of writing the same plot from two different point of views is masterful. Well done, Gretchen.

OMG! This was fun.
Of course, this would be my favorite line.
"Do you know how many horror movies start like this?
I'm enjoying this tale between two authors, you and Rachelle.
God bless,
Steve

I tend to think in the most outlandish ways and my take on Rachelle is every encounter is a social event. Two opposite ends of the spectrum. Lol. Thank you so much, Steve. And, thank you for the sixth star. Gretchen

Oh joy I can't wait to read what's up next.

Do you and Rachelle alternate chapters without knowing what the other vertical you read it? And at that point continue story?

Interesting concept...

Cheers,
John

So true. Stress can make people do almost anything, even what they would not normally do.

Never fails, when you need a signal on your cell phone it is not going to be there.

What would you expect to find in Amish Country but "The Calvary" in horse-drawn buggies? Also, "horse drawn" should be horse-drawn.

"over sized" should be oversized.

"sun kissed" should be sun-kissed.

"hand painted" should be hand-painted.

Easy to tell how out of place you felt in Amish Country.

lol you ladies have gotten yourselves into a real mess and I am loving it. I'm not sure even Kathy Bates could get out of this predicament but it will be interesting to see if either of you are able to kick ass. lol

It is kind of hard for me to worry about you being a guest of the Amish although there is an author who finds a few bad ones among the Amish brethren. I can see an Englisher making some social gaffes. I am wondering how it will go. Fun so far.

What another fine, funny chapter to this humorous story about your trip. You've made a beautiful contrast between yourself and Rachelle that makes this so interesting and comical.

What a situation to be in--totally out of your comfort zone and into your horror zone, as Rachelle seems to blithely enjoy the experience. This is great, Gretchen. - Jim

Thank you. I'm an introvert and Rachelle is an extrovert. So, there's that too. Should prove entertaining. Thank you for this. Gretchen

I had to laugh at the image of you 'kicking ass' Lol. I think I'd be nervous too. Hannah seems to be a bit frightened of the man in front, I suppose he's her father? This is a fun read, my friend, and I look forward to seeing if those, pitchfork killers are going to do next! Lol. Well done, my friend. Sandra xx
