I see now why many if not most of your poems receive 6 star reviews. You've penned another exceptional entry in the free verse poetry contest. To me you are undoubtedly the hands down a favorite if there were a contest for Fanstory Poet Laureate. You set a high standard for the rest of us poet wannabes and hopeful published authors of poetry books. 10++++stars for another magnificent poem.

I thought language was used well here. It helps a bit to know your background in other posts. It also made me go look up the difference between 'cryptic' and 'cryptical.'

When trauma has been a daily part of our life it sounds terrible to say we miss it, but peace is sometimes so unusual that we shun it. Travelling paths of danger can heighten our senses and when we relax we feel vulnerable. A poignant post Lea. Love Dolly x x x
