This is truly a story of anticipation which evokes all of the senses. Our grandmothers tended to have those food items that made our mouths water; my Grandma Summers made the best fried chicken I've ever tasted.

Scones are basically biscuits, right? Pumpkin ones sound yummy. I make good buttermilk biscuits. They melt in your mouth. Smells kick memories into high gear. :-) Good story. Karen

Thanks for your review. Yes, freshly cooked biscuits have the same effect. Buttermilk biscuits. Now they sound yummy. Take care and don't eat all the biscuits.
