I enjoyed the preamble that led up to your memory. It segued smoothly into the touching conclusion. I like that you stayed true to the prompt and shared an early memory even though it was just a snippet from the past. Your grandparents kept you and your mother safe at a difficult time. I'm thinking of all the joy you must have given them in return.

Wonderful that you appreciated the family friend and fun! Maddy oops, I don't have a computer, and am new to cellphones! Author info is displayed on my phone. Love the picture. It sets the tone for the story. I think you did a good job describing what you remembered. Couple corrections you might want to check is it should read on the 5th of October, and it should read like the stork flying, not stock. Good job. Good luck in the contest and have a blessed day
