Love the picture that resembles an oil painting, At the corner stool sat a man hunched over the counter, his shoulders slumped in defeat. His once neatly combed hair fell in disarray over his forehead, partially obscuring his bloodshot eyes. A five o'clock shadow roughened his jaw, and the creases in his brow told the tale of a sleepless night. His hand trembled as he swirled the last drops of amber liquor around the glass.Good description! "Listen, lady, you look like my sister, but you can't be. She's dead. And I refuse to believe I am talking to a ghost." But it is her! A ghost, I like the letter! He give the necklace back? A lot going on! I might have to backtrack a few chapters. Good IMAGINATION! Nice dialogue. That ghost gets around! Love letter?

BOO!

If you ever have time I would love to hear what you think of the story development from start to finish. Like I said, I am new at writing ghosts and my style isn't about gore. I just love to write and keep you guessing.
    Thank you again.

It's such a beautiful story Carol. You have thought it out so very well. I'm sorry that I'm so behind with everything, but I have a few upsetting days. I'm hoping to catch up as much as I can. I'm sure you have a winner here. Hugs, Ulla xcx

I love that Eleanor pops in an out in an effort to help her family members become successful enough to inherit the provisional money she left for them. In this chapter, Nick is the surprise. What debt does he have with the judge? Nick negotiated the million-dollar payoff for himself.

Oh My! There are plots and sub-plots. How on earth will you unravel all of this? I can't wait to see.

Yes, I have to try and keep them all straight and being away for a few days mixed up my mind on how it is suppose to unravel. Wish me luck.

Another virtual six my friend. Nothing to edit that I see. I heard you went through a tornado? Fan story has its own rumor mill I see. Nothing to edit, great story and I will see you again Monday night when I get back from another Harley riding vacation. Esther

I bet. I love sitting down at the computer and letting my imagination wander. Truthfully, my best thinking happens on the back of the bike. But I can't always hold the thought long enough to write it. Esther

This story surpasses the previous ghost story. It takes the reader into each character's mind and world. I'm enjoying this story very much, and waiting for the next chapter.

Do you really think this one is better? I feel more relaxed writing this one and it's awesome to have fun with Eleanor.
Smiles and a great big thank you. Carol

I'm wondering where Margaret will get a millon dollars because I didn't think they were supposed to get the money without doing some important thing. I hope Jonathan is truly going to make a change in his life. Trevor and Megan are the ones in the most trouble it seems at the moment.

You will just have to keep wondering until you actually find out. LOL but you'll know soon.

Eighteen red spaces, eighteen black spaces, and two green spaces. Well, unless you're in Europe, then there is only one green space. And no, I never play, but for the occasional $25 chip on the black 8, in passing. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Couldn't all use an Eleanor just once at the casino...Me either...25 cent slots would be my limit. Thanks as always.

If you could lend me Eleanor for a couple of days, I might try my luck at the Adelaide Casino! LOL
Once again, I'm touched by the relationship between Eleanor and Helen, and the care they both extend to Jenna.
Keep up the good work! (Ooops! I don't think I've written that since I was a schoolmaster!)

This is my favorite chapter, thus far. Something about the tenderness with which Eleanor confronted Jonathan about his gambling addiction.

She's a many faceted ghost! Sly, an imp, a bit of a sleuth...but she loves her dysfunctional family and is "meddling" in the best possible way!

Eleanor couldn't reach out to her family when she was alive so she remained a secretive reclue except for Jenna. Now it is her time to leave them with the knowledge that she cared very much for all of them.

She's firm but loving...too bad her family didn't appreciate her when she was among them!

I love Eleanor's meeting with her brother Jonathon completely under the bondage to drinking and gambling, both of which God Delivered me from alcohol and gambling, it's been 41 years now, a wonderful post, well done, blessings Roy

Awesome, Roy! I think God works in mysterious ways and for Jonathan it was through Eleanor. With her reminding him, he'll see how he can be a better person and help others at the same time.
