This is quite poignant actually. It has a nice twist to it that the reader will be given cause to pause. It said that the strongest trigger for memory is the sense of smell. This was handled well.

An excellent entry for the 75 Word Flash writing prompt. What a sweet story. We learn everything we need to know in the 75 words and then we get the surprise twist at the end that we expect in flash fiction. Very nice.
