My childhood was spent in the country with nature. Not many children around but I was definitely entertained and amused by the world around me. Children of today miss so much by stuffing their faces behind their phones and screens. thank you for sharing this lovely poem.

this poem brings back so many memories for me: going swimming and camping. It's funny I can remember childhood summers, more than winters. It was really a magic time for me.

a good ababa rhyme and nice imagery
a suggestion i have is maybe try a dark green background and a yellow font to blend in with the cool pic? just a thought...
also had a thought as i was reading through a second time- maybe try using present tense?
Amidst the laughter long and bright,
Breezes carry whispers of our play,
Childhood dreams alive in endless light,
Dandelions drift on their way---
