Hi, I'm sorry for 4 star review due to several reasons: First, I have no 6 star in my drop list. The 5star is used up for other previous Bible contestant who wrote similar like yours. Next is the 4 star that fit with you because your opening line is catchy all about "LOVE," and of course, the greatest of all is love, etc... I feel that as a human or humans - we all need and wanted love so badly, like, for example: all sort of love, the Godly-love, true, fake, good, bad, & ugly love... you name it - us humans will do anything, including dying for love. Anyway, your writing is very good, I think it needs a bit more personal love in life experiences, and tie it into the context instead of too much generalizing it. Although, I wish you all the best in winning.

Thanks. As it was a Bible-inspired piece I thought it should be philosophical rather than personal. There you go.

You are welcome, and I agreed with you, but in the request for the Bible contest for #2 Application says something like applied it to your life/situation, etc...

Hi

This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!

I am a Christian too, but I tolerate all religions. As you say, most of them have the basic tenants that all religions share. you are the first Christian I have seen on here that agrees with me. But all religions share the basic tenets in believing in God. The exceptions are Buddhism and Hinduism. Hinduism has its own set of gods, and Buddhism doesn't have a God.

So, I'm really happy that you are tolerant of other religions

Two of the most peaceful men I've ever known were Muslim and one man's wife wanted to care for me, free of charge while I was recovering from Achilles tendon surgery. I was laid up for eight weeks without being able to get out of bed

Then, of course there are
the Jews who use the Tanakh

The Muslims use the Quran

We use the Bible

I don't know if there are texts like that with Hinduism or Buddhism

Do you know that imprecation means a spoken curse?

It doesn't seem to fit where it's used in this poem

I enjoyed reading your story

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much. I have changed imprecation. Wrongly used. Well spotted. Cheers.
