Hey babe, I looked to see if you had anything new and when I went back enough pages and didn't see you, I came looking for you. I never have to read very far to recognize one of your poems about your sister. As always, it is beautiful but heart breaking because I know the memories like this that have to hurt you so bad.
You write these from inside the deepest part of your soul and this one is so sad about the dress for your wedding. However, when you write from that place it is always so descriptive of where your heart is and how it still pops in and out of you like a festering wound. You are in my thoughts and prayers always. This was a painful poem to read. It reminded me of my daughter's two weddings, both ended in grief. The first came a day after the wedding. She was only 17 and far too immature to handle things. The second cam when she was in her late 30s and she was trying desperately to put her life back together. Lastly, I was reminded of my overwhelming grief at viewing her still, lifeless body laying there in a casket. So much unsaid, so much not yet done.
