Well you didn't miss any opportunity to rhyme this one. Every line has two words that rhyme. I the contest hinges on how many actual words rhyme then you may have a winner here.

I enjoyed reading your words out loud. You have a strong steady beat in your poem. "For words and wine is a perfect line", hahaha, I rhymed accidentally. Excellent poetic form and use of words.

Bill, you crack me up! From the witty title combining rhyme and ditty to the creative mono rhyme in the poem you take the reader on a wild wacky ride. Not quite Edward Lear but you could rise to those heights with practice!

It may very well be time for you to find a rhyme, that like a bell, will chime on time. Also by design, it might realign the awesome sign outside your door, while you implore, help to restore, your sense of rhyme which by design, and sense of time, will make the bell just chime and chime.

A little rhyming exercise, I see. It's a fun poem with a sing-song rhythm. I was envisioning a child swaying in the backseat of a car singing this out loud as he passed the time. Nice work!
