Well, this is what happens when politicians build back better, I guess!! I know I'M feeling all kinds of better about our economy, and it appears you are, as well.

Good luck in the competition!! xo

Oh, yes. Well, we never know until too late if what they do will work, unfortunately. Too bad we don't have the ability to see into the future.

That's where a little dose of Common Sense would be a wonderful commodity!

Hi

This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!

Maybe we should become vegetarians, although food prices for cheese and milk and vegetables and eggs have all gone up as well

But this is a very cute poem where all lines rhyme with each other

This is a good poem to get more people to become vegetarians or vegans anyway

I enjoyed reading your poem

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Your poem takes a playful approach to discussing the joy and challenge of enjoying meat as a treat. The rhythmic pattern and simple rhyme scheme work well to convey a light-hearted tone. The line "Good to eat / Can not be beat" effectively highlights the appeal of meat, while the concluding lines bring a touch of realism by addressing the disparity between desire and budget.

I was trying to be light-hearted, but honestly I have to make meals for 3 - 6 people out of nothing more often than I care to mention. Thanks for reviewing.
