Oh, a new novel. Nice novel name and picture. Your character list describes the list of characters. A ghost detective and a ghost advisor. Beauty, Brawn, and Brains, nice alliterations. The pageant's deadly legacy, a history of unexplained deaths and disappearances, will slowly come to light, challenging investigators to unravel a mystery steeped in danger and deceit. Oh, this must summarize things, this is a beauty pageant of some sort? There will be ghosts haunting an establishment? As result of the murders. Intriguing plot! Wish you luck with this new story.

Great prologue! It reads like the back jacket of a book. I think you can relax now and just post once or twice a week so you get a regular following. You might scare off some reviewers with too frequent posts.

Yes, I will try to slow down, Helen, but I can't make too many promises. My motor is running in high gear for some reason and it's like being a kid waiting for Christmas. LOl I loved the characters and it's been fun!

Hello, Lorraine! Trying to burn off some pent up energy and writing seems to be where I do it best. I saw a contest for a first chapter and that's how the whole thing got started again. I don't think I'll write so many chapters a day so that others can keep up better but one never knows.... when writing takes over it's off I go! LOL

I think this will be a series maybe! I enjoy the characters and will use a different plot each time...not positive of that though. It's fun so I am doing it and hoping you enjoy!

I suggest less vertical spacing between lines. That may take care of the rest actually, because the spacing makes it feel like the paragraphs go on for a long time.

If your narrator was delivering this in real life, I might use the verb tense you used, but in writing, efficiency is preferred -- at least by me!

Eleanor will only be a stop in now and then advisor to keep Danny on the straight and narrow...you will see why when I post...Maybe Wednesday. It's done and I'm working on Chap 2. Garth will be there later because of the international theme. I'm not familiar with pageants so I hope I can pull this off... more crime and less pageant. Suggestions are welcomed!!!

Neither am I since I think they exploit the women and for all the wrong reasons. This pageant is Beauty, Brawn and Brains giving everyone a fair chance, but the story really isn't about the pageant...it's about the corruption some people will go to for success and greed. Thanks so much Diane for the review and that you will be following the story. I appreciate it very much.
