I like this. I feel like it could be part of a longer poem that more fully accentuates the message and theme it seems to desperately want to display.

I agree with your comments but what about the white lies? =) In a general sense, It is always good to tell the truth. Your poetry rhymes very well, and I wish you the best for the rhyming contest.
