Yes, many children in this world are victims of an accidental life, were poverty and abuse was rained upon them, despite their innocence, such a terrible shame, it's a lifetime of suffering for them, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

True. I work with elementary school age kids Monday through Friday and I can appreciate this poem. I see that everyone has a story and this is why kids may act the way they do

Yes, what you state is true. I suspect there are studies that show a link between children's upbringing and their parents' involvement in their lives.

Nicely summarized by your senryu. However, the poem seems to suggest that it is the recalling of the "great parents " rather than actions of their great parents.
