I love this chapter. Showing Garth grieving and being vulnerable, makes him all the more endearing. Eleanor, who can be quite the charming cut-up as she navigates her way around tragedy and mystery was PERFECT in saying just the right things.
I just read this chapter twice. It's you at your finest!

I must agree...my emotions got into this chapter and I showed another side of Garth..a vunerable side that he doesn't show often. Twofer you say! I am thrilled that you felt the emotions and enjoyed.

Hmm, I have always like this cast of characters. I think Garth and the boys are a favorite of yours too. Now, the ghosts, take some getting used to, and I have get a hold of the rule, powers, and limitations.

At first, I didn't think I'd like the ghosts either...matter of fact I almost quite one story, three chapters in, beause I thought I couldn't do it. But miracles happen and when I decided, it's fiction and my ghosts can do whatever I want them to do, it became fun. Thanks for the thoughts. Stop by again.

Eleanor might have to put another cattle prod into him, but I am sure Garth will get the message soon. Donatelli's got to many cases unfolding at once and he needs the help. As for Eleanor, she's the best!

I think they will.... Eleanor comes from a very special part of my heart and Garth...well, the Cowboy gives us some awesome charm. Sounds like Garth is depressed. A new case should help him even if it means working with Donatelli. I like how Eleanor knows how to banter with Tango and Poppa. It's good of her to provide meals where she mistakenly takes a wrong turn!

HURRAH! Great way to start off my Monday morning... I worried yesterday when I didn't see you... I know you are busy but I still worried. Silly Me! As for the story...I hoped you would like to see Eleanor in action and Garth (almost there). I thought I needed to put the two men on an even playing field so they can smooth out their differences and get to work.
And of course, Eleanor spreading a moment of cheer to our homeless man and his cats. It's what she likes to do!
Thanks for the awesome review... I am beyond happy that you enjoyed this chapter. I did too! Now off to write another chapter an see if I can post today...Maybe!

Eleanor needs help and Garth is the best there is, an equal to Donatelli. The problem is, Garth is mourning Allie and doesn't want to be disturbed. Eleanor usually gets her way. Maybe add Garth and Allie to you cast of characters list.
