Harry,
nice song. I like that you make this common occurrence into a creative outlet. Excellent lyrics to that doggone music.
My mom was famous for losing socks in the laundry. We jokingly called her laundry the black hole (where socks came in, but never came out).
Great song!
Best wishes, Harry.

It must be getting pretty crowded in sock heaven, but I guess there is still room. Did your socks go down the black hole to hell?
Thanks for the read and feedback.

"It is madden when a sock is taken to sock heaven." madening--not madden.
"Oh Where Can My Sockie Be?" Your sockie bin, perhaps?
"Oh, where or where can my little sock be?" oh--not or.
"My foot needs you, slockie" sockie--not slockie. Unless slockie's your missing sock's name.
Good luck in the contest.

Hey thanks for catching my mistakes. Appreciated.

These lyrics, Oh Where Can My Sockie Be?, follows the well-known drill of searching for those pieces of clothing we typically dismiss until they dismiss themselves.
Found this twice: My foot needs you, (sockie), please come back to me
Happy day.

Yes, last line of the repeated chorus. Thanks for the feedback.

This is charmingly playful. We've all had the experience of pulling an odd number of socks out of the dryer. This is the first song I've seen marking the occasion. I think it was clever to overstate things -heavenly array- and then go back to looking in realistic places like the basement. That added more humour.
