It sounds like Jose is in over his head, and Angelo is not far behind. I'm wondering what you have planned for Carlos to do. Or perhaps Carlos is responsible for Jose's current condition. Good chapter! Lots of intrigue. Eleanor to the rescue again. Blessings. Carol

Wait tilll you read Chapter 18...My mind might have gone crazy with the action...but I hope it stills sounds believable...things are happening! Sad part is...Jose doesn't deserve the help! But his dad is his dad! Smiles to you, Carol

Angelo certainly does have his problems. He is in love with Naomi but afraid she will die, and she might if he doesn't trust Elizabeth. He also needs to keep Jose alive, but he is now in the hands of professionals.

Yes, Angelo is caught between being a good person and recognizing that he's been walking a thin line...now he has to discover how to get out of it and stay alive. He's in a mess! But I am sure Eleanor will help him outX!

So Angelo has been sucked in by a distress call from Jose, who is losing a bucket of blood, but when gets there there are two, what looked like professionals carting him away, he tells Carlos, Jose's father, he will handle it, feel sorry for the guys, well done Carol. Blessings Roy

Yes, Angelo is getting drug into something he doesn't want to be in...especially since he'd rather see Jose eliminated after what he believes he did to Naomi. Like a game of tug of war.

I love how you're upping the tension with each chapter and especially surrounding Eleanor as well. It really feels as though there is no safe place she can go and she desperately needs help. A well written piece Carol with engaging dialogue. I really enjoyed reading it.

I'm so glad you remembered him and his hospital. That's what I hope for when people read the stories. I want them to feel like they know the person...some good some bad. You'll have to put your thinking hat on and find some ideas for another story. Haven't finished this one and my minds already racing ahead. I've got to get Danni and Donatelli busy too...and of course Garth and Matthew will have to butt heads before things start happening. There's just so much to do...LOL Naomi will be well taken care of by our Gangster friend....and that's good because I think Angelo is going to be busy. I don't know which way to go first..... Start craqcking that whip!
